Guinea Pigs
This page is dedicated to Sparky & Lodie, the only guinea pigs to to have served in the Pets on Wheels Program for Prince George's County. Guinea pigs make ideal therapy pets due to their compact size and docile yet social nature. They were owned by the current Webmaster and visited, entertained, and comforted senior residents at the Golden Oaks Nursing Home in Laurel, Maryland.
